McCartney's New Album INTERIM
Makes More
History at Club Passim
Boston,
MA
In
follow up to her 2001 album entitled Eye On the Horizon,
Boston-based acoustic artist Rachel McCartney releases Interim,
a collection of studio-free recordings that aptly captures the
raw power of her distinct, depth-filled voice and intimate songwriting.
Interim, recorded at the legendary Cambridge, MA folk club,
Club Passim, pushes the envelope of traditional folk music. McCartney's
rich acoustic based tunes range from the emotional, traditional
folk of Ocean Song, to the soulful in Will I, to the enjoyable
bluegrass twang in All the Joy. With a live performance that easily
outdoes any recording, McCartney's, Interim is a glimpse into
the beginning of a soon to be prolific career.
